Artist’s Statement:
My local guild challenge, once, was “orange.” Recalling my years living in California and Florida, I remembered the magic of picking a beautiful, ripe orange from the tree. Biting into a fresh, juicy orange is heaven! I quilted in sunshine rays, and a “ghost orange,” the slice that was already eaten.
